Every stop in the Oisans
Tell us where you are and where you want to be. We show the shortest one or two ways to do it by bus on the day and time you pick, and draw the one you choose on the map.
From
To
Tap any dot on the map to see where that stop can take you: the stops one bus reaches from it are lit and everything else steps back. Tap one of those to plan the journey, or use Departures in the bar over the map for that stop's own next departures, today and then tomorrow. Each dot is coloured by the line that calls there, and the chips under the map turn a line and its stops off. School services are left out: they run nothing in the holidays and are not usable public transport for a visitor.
Airports, trains and coaches
There is no through bus from Grenoble to Alpe d'Huez. Every public transport journey changes at Le Bourg-d'Oisans, whatever the line title suggests. Pick a date and we rank the ways in, quickest and simplest first, and hide anything that does not run that day.

Going to
Three different stops, three different services, and the difference matters when you are standing on a pavement with a suitcase. Distances are straight lines from Chalet Magique Alpe d'Huez.
Grenoble airport publishes no arrivals board of its own, so these links open boards kept by others. They are links, not panels, and nothing on this page reads them.

Cable and cameras
Two different things share the word lift here. Inside the village, free cable links move people about in winter. Above it, the mountain lifts carry skiers in winter and walkers and bikes in summer, on dates the lift company sets season by season.
Every line is a lift, drawn where it actually runs. The colour is the state the lift company's own board gives it, at the moment shown with the count above. Tap a line for its name, its hours and what the board says about it.
These open on their own site. Their host publishes no permission to show them here, so we link rather than lift.
